Dreamfolks Services Q4 Results: Net profit rises 184% to ₹25 crore, revenue up 140%
Dreamfolks Services announced its Q4FY23 results on May 23, reporting a net profit of 25.3 crore, registering a growth of 184 per cent, compared to 9 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s revenue from operations in the January-March quarter came in at 237.7 crore, posting a rise of 140 per cent, compared to 99 crore in the year-ago period. On the operating front front, the company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) in the fourth quarter stood at 34 crore, compared to 12 core in the same quarter last year. The total expenses came in at 205.12 crore (up 133.12 per cent year-on-year), the cost of services stood at 195.29 crore (up 139.18 per cent year-on-year) and employee benefit expenses was at 5.13 crore (up 50.44 per cent annually) during the quarter under review. Last year, Dreamfolks Services listed with 56 per cent gains and grey market premium of 30-40 per cent on the stock exchanges. The stock opened at 505 on the BSE, against its IPO issue price of 326. The 562-crore IPO had received strong response from investors, getting subscribed 56.68 times during its subscription window. It was entirely an offer for sale by shareholders. The price band for the offer was 308-326 per share. Dreamfolks Services is the country’s largest airport service aggregator platform facilitating an enhanced airport experience to passengers that leverages a technology driven platform. The company facilitates access to airport-related services such as lounge, food & beverages, spa, pick up and drop service. On May 23, shares of Dreamfolks Services settled 5.78 per cent higher at 538.70 apiece in the BSE.
