3M India Reports Mixed Financial Results with Record Sales Amid Profit Decline in March 2025
3M India has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing a complex picture of performance within the diversified industry. The company has experienced notable evaluation changes, with its score reflecting a shift from 6 to -7 over the past three months.On a positive note, 3M India achieved its highest net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 1,198.23 crore. This upward trend in sales is complemented by an operating profit of Rs 226.73 crore, also the highest in the same timeframe. Additionally, the profit before tax (PBT) stood at Rs 211.72 crore, marking another peak for the company in recent quarters.
Conversely, the financial results indicate challenges as well. The profit after tax (PAT) has seen a significant decline, recorded at Rs 71.37 crore, which represents a year-on-year decrease of 55.7%. This figure is the lowest PAT reported in the last five quarters, reflecting a concerning trend. Furthermore, earnings per share (EPS) have also reached a low of Rs 63.33, indicating a reduction in profitability for shareholders.
