AGI Infra Reports Strong Q4 Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses

AGI Infra, a small-cap player in the construction and real estate industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's financial standing, with a revision in its score reflecting these changes.
In the latest quarter, AGI Infra achieved net sales of Rs 91.41 crore, marking the highest figure in the last five quarters and demonstrating a year-on-year growth of 25.58%. The operating profit also reached a peak of Rs 28.68 crore, contributing to a positive trend in profitability metrics. Profit Before Tax (PBT) was reported at Rs 20.58 crore, again the highest in five quarters, with a year-on-year increase of 29.76%. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 19.06 crore, showcasing a year-on-year growth of 27.7%. The earnings per share (EPS) also reflected this upward trajectory, reaching Rs 15.60.

However, the financial results also highlighted a concern regarding interest expenses, which grew by 37.09% over the preceding nine months, indicating a rise in borrowing costs.

Overall, AGI Infra's recent financial performance has led to an adjustment in evaluation, reflecting the company's evolving financial landscape.
