Ajanta Soya Reports Record Sales Amid Declining Profit Metrics in March 2025
Ajanta Soya, a microcap player in the edible oil industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company achieved net sales of Rs 388.39 crore, marking a significant milestone as it represents the highest quarterly sales in the last five quarters. This figure reflects a notable growth rate of 31.5% compared to the average net sales of Rs 295.36 crore from the previous four quarters, indicating a positive near-term sales trend.However, the financial results also reveal challenges for Ajanta Soya. The profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 4.89 crore, which represents a decline of 17.4% compared to the average PBT of Rs 5.92 crore over the previous four quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 5.02 crore, down by 19.1% from the average PAT of Rs 6.20 crore in the prior quarters.
In light of these results, there has been an adjustment in evaluation for Ajanta Soya, reflecting the mixed performance across different financial metrics.
