Ajanta Soya Reports Record Sales Amid Declining Profit Metrics in March 2025

Ajanta Soya, a microcap player in the edible oil industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company achieved net sales of Rs 388.39 crore, marking a significant milestone as it represents the highest quarterly sales in the last five quarters. This figure reflects a notable growth rate of 31.5% compared to the average net sales of Rs 295.36 crore from the previous four quarters, indicating a positive near-term sales trend. However, the financial results also reveal challenges for Ajanta Soya. The profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 4.89 crore, which represents a decline of 17.4% compared to the average PBT of Rs 5.92 crore over the previous four quarters.
