AKI India Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Sales Growth and Profitability Challenges in March 2025
AKI India, operating in the Gems, Jewellery and Watches industry, has released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The evaluation changes reflect a notable shift in the company's score, which has seen a revision from 3 to -4 over the past three months.The financial data indicates that the Profit After Tax (PAT) for the latest six months stands at Rs 1.10 crore, surpassing the Rs 1.05 crore recorded in the previous twelve-month period. Additionally, net sales have reached Rs 24.02 crore, marking the highest figure in the last five quarters and demonstrating a positive trend compared to the average net sales of Rs 19.27 crore from the previous four quarters.
Conversely, several metrics highlight challenges for AKI India. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) has dropped significantly to Rs -1.95 crore, reflecting a negative trend. Operating profit has also reached its lowest point at Rs -0.82 crore, with the operating profit margin declining to -3.41%. Furthermore, the earnings per share (EPS) have decreased to Rs 0.01, indicating lower profitability for shareholders.
