Algoquant Fintech Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Strong Sales Growth and Declining Profitability in May 2025

Algoquant Fintech, a small-cap player in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results, declared on May 30, 2025, indicate a mixed performance for the company.
On a positive note, Algoquant Fin has demonstrated significant growth in net sales, achieving Rs 168.91 crore for the nine-month period, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 53.89%. This figure surpasses the sales recorded in the preceding twelve months, suggesting a strong near-term sales trend.

Conversely, the financial results also highlight challenges faced by the company. Profit After Tax (PAT) for the latest six months has shown a notable decline, standing at Rs 2.17 crore, which represents a year-on-year decrease of 84.44%. Additionally, the operating profit margin has reached its lowest point in the last five quarters at 5.99%, indicating a decline in operational efficiency. Profit Before Tax (PBT) and Earnings per Share (EPS) have also hit their lowest levels in the same timeframe, reflecting a downturn in profitability.

In light of these developments, Algoquant Fin has experienced adjustments in its evaluation, with a revision in its score noted in recent assessments.
