Alivus Life Sciences Reports Strong Q3 FY24-25 Results Amid Income Sustainability Concerns

Alivus Life Sciences, a midcap player in the pharmaceuticals and drugs industry, has reported its financial results for the third quarter of FY24-25, with the announcement made on January 23, 2025. The company has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting a significant change in its financial score over the past three months.
In terms of net sales, Alivus Life achieved its highest quarterly figure in five quarters, reaching Rs 641.84 crore. The operating profit also peaked at Rs 190.30 crore, indicating a positive near-term trend. Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 174.69 crore, marking a notable increase compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters. Profit After Tax (PAT) also hit a five-quarter high at Rs 136.96 crore, reflecting growth over the average PAT from the prior four quarters. Earnings per Share (EPS) stood at Rs 11.18, the highest in the last five quarters.

However, the company reported a notable increase in non-operating income, which reached Rs 10.46 crore, raising concerns about the sustainability of this income source.
