Alkyl Amines Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Declining Operating Profit Metrics in March 2025

Alkyl Amines Chemicals has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing a mixed performance in key areas. The company's Profit After Tax (PAT) for the latest six months stands at Rs 89.78 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 24.90%, indicating a positive trend in this aspect. However, the overall financial performance for the quarter has been characterized as flat, with a notable adjustment in its evaluation score, which has shifted to 1 from 5 over the past three months.
On the other hand, the company has faced challenges, particularly in its operating profit metrics. The Operating Profit (PBDIT) has reached its lowest point in the last five quarters at Rs 67.81 crore, suggesting a negative trend in this area. Additionally, the Operating Profit Margin has also declined to 17.57%, marking the lowest efficiency level observed in recent quarters. Furthermore, the Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) has similarly dropped to Rs 50.03 crore, indicating ongoing difficulties.

While Alkyl Amines has seen an increase in non-operating income, which is at its highest in the last five quarters at Rs 9.32 crore, the sustainability of this income from non-business activities remains uncertain.
