Alphageo (India) Reports Significant Declines in Q4 Financial Performance

Alphageo (India), operating in the oil exploration and refinery sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The results indicate a challenging period for the company, with notable declines across various financial metrics.
Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 11.16 crore, reflecting a significant drop compared to the average of Rs 33.77 crore over the previous four quarters. This marks the lowest sales figure recorded in the last five quarters, suggesting a concerning trend in revenue generation.

Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) also showed a substantial decline, reported at Rs -10.53 crore, which is the lowest in the last five quarters. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) was recorded at Rs -7.85 crore, indicating a significant downturn in profitability.

Operating profit and operating profit margin have reached their lowest points in the last five quarters, with the margin reported at -62.72%. Additionally, Earnings per Share (EPS) fell to Rs -12.34, further highlighting the challenges faced by the company in generating returns for shareholders.

In light of these results, there has been an adjustment in evaluation for Alphageo (India).
