Ambuja Cements Reports Mixed Financial Results with Significant Profit Growth and Dividend Concerns in June 2025

Ambuja Cements has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a mix of positive developments and areas of concern. The company's Profit After Tax (PAT) for the nine-month period reached Rs 3,733.30 crore, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of 61.41%. Additionally, the Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 1,036.54 crore, marking a year-on-year increase of 40.20%.
Net sales also reached a notable high of Rs 10,289.07 crore, the highest in the last five quarters, with a year-on-year growth of 22.60%. Operating profit for the quarter was recorded at Rs 1,961.09 crore, again the highest in the last five quarters, with an operating profit margin of 19.06%, indicating improved efficiency.

However, the company has experienced a revision in its evaluation, with its score adjusting from 9 to 8 over the past three months. Notably, the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) has reached its lowest point at 11.82%, continuing a downward trend over the last five years, suggesting a reduced distribution of profits as dividends.
