Amco India, a microcap company in the aluminium industry, has recently declared its financial results for the quarter ending March 2024. The stock call by MarketsMOJO for Amco India is ‘Sell’.

According to the financial report, Amco India’s performance for the quarter has been flat, with a score of 1 compared to -7 in the previous 3 months. However, there are some positive aspects to the company’s financials. The half-yearly Profit After Tax (PAT) has increased to Rs 0.72 crore from the preceding 12-month period of Rs 0.33 crore. This shows a significant improvement in the company’s profitability. Additionally, the quarterly Operating Profit (PBDIT) has also reached its highest at Rs 0.80 crore in the last five quarters, indicating a positive trend in the near term.

Moreover, the company’s Operating Profit Margin for the quarter has also seen an improvement, reaching its highest at 3.41% in the last five quarters. This shows that Amco India’s efficiency has improved. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) for the quarter has also reached its highest at Rs 0.27 crore in the last five quarters, with a positive trend in the near term.

However, there are some areas of concern for Amco India. The quarterly Net Sales have fallen by -9.5% at Rs 23.45 crore compared to the average Net Sales of the previous four quarters at Rs 25.90 crore. This indicates a negative trend in the near term for the company’s sales.

Overall, Amco India’s financial performance for the quarter ending March 2024 has been mixed, with some positive and negative aspects. Investors should carefully consider these factors before making any investment decisions.
