Angel One Reports Declining Financial Performance, Adjusts Evaluation Score in June 2025 Results
Angel One, a prominent player in the capital markets sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's financial performance, leading to an adjustment in its evaluation score. The score has moved to -19, reflecting a change from -16 over the past three months.The financial data reveals several areas of concern for Angel One. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) for the quarter stands at Rs 161.88 crore, which is significantly lower than the average of Rs 395.67 crore from the previous four quarters, indicating a challenging environment for the company. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also seen a decline, recorded at Rs 114.47 crore, compared to an average of Rs 293.02 crore in the prior quarters.
Net sales have decreased to Rs 1,140.53 crore, down from an average of Rs 1,309.60 crore, further emphasizing the difficulties faced by the company. Additionally, the operating profit margin has reached its lowest point in five quarters at 24.08%, suggesting a decline in operational efficiency. The earnings per share (EPS) have also dropped to Rs 12.64, marking a decrease in profitability for shareholders.
In light of these results, Angel One's evaluation has undergone a revision, reflecting the current financial landscape.
