Apcotex Industries, a smallcap company in the rubber products industry, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company’s stock has been given a ‘Strong Sell’ rating by MarketsMOJO.

According to the financial report, Apcotex Industries has seen a negative performance in the quarter, with a score of -8 compared to -1 in the previous three months. However, there are some positive aspects to the company’s financials. The net sales for the quarter were the highest in the last five quarters at Rs 351.06 crore, indicating a positive trend in sales. The company has also been distributing higher dividends from its profits, with the dividend per share (DPS) being the highest in the last five years at Rs 5.50.

On the other hand, there are some areas of concern for Apcotex Industries. The profit before tax less other income (PBT) for the quarter has fallen by 28.8% compared to the average of the previous four quarters. The profit after tax (PAT) has also seen a decline of 22.5% compared to the average of the previous four quarters. The company’s ability to manage interest payments has also deteriorated, with the operating profit to interest ratio being the lowest in the last five quarters. The operating cash flow has also decreased, indicating a decline in cash revenues from business operations.

The company’s interest cost has increased by 10.41% compared to the previous quarter, signifying increased borrowings. The operating profit margin has also decreased, indicating a decline in efficiency. The PBT for the quarter is the lowest in the last five quarters, and the earnings per share (EPS) have also seen a decline. The company’s non-operating income has increased, but it may not be sustainable in the long run.

Overall, Apcotex Industries has seen a negative financial performance in the quarter ending September 2024. Investors should carefully consider these factors before making any investment decisions.
