APL Apollo Tubes Reports Strong Q3 FY24-25 Sales Amid Cash Flow Challenges

APL Apollo Tubes has released its financial results for the third quarter of FY24-25, showcasing a notable year-on-year growth in net sales, which reached Rs 5,432.73 crore. This figure marks the highest quarterly sales in the last five quarters, suggesting a favorable trend in sales performance.
The operating profit for the quarter was reported at Rs 345.58 crore, also the highest in the last five quarters, while profit before tax (PBT) amounted to Rs 258.45 crore, reflecting a year-on-year increase. Profit after tax (PAT) was recorded at Rs 216.97 crore, with a significant growth compared to the previous year. Earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 7.82, indicating enhanced profitability for shareholders.

Despite these positive indicators, APL Apollo Tubes is encountering challenges, particularly with a decline in cash and cash equivalents, which have fallen to Rs 203.32 crore, the lowest level in the last six half-yearly periods. Additionally, the debtors turnover ratio has decreased to 80.25 times, suggesting a slowdown in the collection of receivables.

In light of these results, there have been evaluation changes regarding the stock's assessment.
