Archean Chemical Industries Reports Strong Sales Growth Amid Declining Profit Trends in March 2025

Archean Chemical Industries, a midcap player in the specialty chemicals sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's evaluation, with its score improving to -4 from -19 over the past three months.
The financial data reveals that net sales reached Rs 345.58 crore, reflecting a growth of 41.1% compared to the average net sales of the previous four quarters, which stood at Rs 244.84 crore. This marks the highest quarterly sales figure for Archean Chemical in the last five quarters, suggesting a positive near-term sales trend. Additionally, the operating profit (PBDIT) also reached a peak of Rs 88.30 crore during this period, further indicating a favorable operating profit trend.

Conversely, the profit after tax (PAT) for the latest six months was reported at Rs 101.51 crore, showing a year-on-year decline of 36.21%. This suggests a negative near-term trend for PAT. Furthermore, the debtors turnover ratio has decreased to 6.33 times, the lowest in the last five half-yearly periods, indicating a slowdown in the company's ability to settle its debtors.
