Andhra Petrochemicals' latest results show modest revenue growth with net sales of ₹167.64 crores and a net profit of ₹2.14 crores, indicating some recovery. However, the company still faces challenges with a low operating profit margin of 0.54%, raising concerns about the sustainability of its business model.
The latest financial results for Andhra Petrochemicals indicate a company facing significant operational challenges. In the quarter ended September 2025, the company reported a net sales figure of ₹167.64 crores, reflecting a quarter-on-quarter growth of 18.51% compared to ₹141.46 crores in June 2025. This modest revenue growth is contrasted by a net profit of ₹2.14 crores, which represents a substantial quarter-on-quarter increase of 125.42% from the loss of ₹8.42 crores in the previous quarter.

However, despite this revenue growth, the operating profit margin remains a concern, with the latest reported margin at 0.54%, which is still negative when considering the previous quarter's -7.41%. The operating profit before depreciation, interest, tax, and other income (PBDIT) improved significantly from a loss of ₹10.48 crores to a positive ₹0.91 crores, indicating some recovery in core operational performance.

Overall, the financial data suggests that while there are signs of recovery in terms of sales and net profit, the company continues to grapple with negative operating margins, raising questions about the sustainability of its business model in the current commodity cycle. Additionally, there has been an adjustment in the company's evaluation, reflecting the ongoing operational challenges and the need for further improvements to restore profitability.
