AWL Agri Business has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, highlighting a complex operational landscape. The company achieved net sales of Rs 35,288.24 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 28.90%. This growth is supported by the highest annual operating cash flow in three years, amounting to Rs 2,149.69 crore, alongside a reduced debt-equity ratio of 0.21 times, indicating a lower level of borrowing.
However, the results also reveal significant challenges. Profit Before Tax (PBT) declined to Rs 104.51 crore, marking a substantial decrease of 69.5% compared to the average of the previous four quarters. The operating profit margin dropped to 2.14%, the lowest recorded in five quarters, which raises concerns about operational efficiency. Additionally, a substantial portion of PBT, 66.35%, came from non-operating income, suggesting potential sustainability issues in the business model. Furthermore, cash and cash equivalents decreased to Rs 2,325.14 crore, indicating a decline in short-term liquidity.

In terms of quarterly performance, the company experienced a net sales decline of 6.42% compared to the previous quarter, while consolidated net profit showed a growth of 24.25%. The operating profit margin, excluding other income, also decreased by 0.37%. Overall, AWL Agri Business has seen an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the mixed operational trends observed in the latest financial results.
