Castrol India has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, which reveal a flat performance compared to previous periods. The company saw an adjustment in its evaluation over the last three months, indicating a change in overall financial health.

In terms of financial metrics, Castrol India achieved net sales of Rs 1,422.00 crore for the quarter, reflecting a growth of 5.03% compared to the previous quarter, marking the highest sales figure in the last five quarters. However, the standalone net profit showed a decline of 13.98%, contrasting with a significant increase in the prior quarter. This decline in net profit is accompanied by a decrease in operating profit margin, which fell to 21.61%, down by 6.15% from the previous quarter.

On a positive note, the company reported its highest annual operating cash flow in three years, amounting to Rs 1,044.10 crore, indicating strong cash generation from its business operations. Additionally, Castrol India declared a dividend per share of Rs 13.00, the highest in five years, alongside a notable dividend payout ratio of 138.68%, suggesting a substantial distribution of profits to shareholders.

While the company also recorded its highest non-operating income in five quarters at Rs 32.24 crore, this raises concerns regarding the sustainability of such income sources. Overall, the results present a mixed picture of operational performance for Castrol India in this reporting period.
