Coromandel Engineering Company has reported its financial results for the third quarter of FY24-25, highlighting a challenging performance. The company experienced an adjustment in its evaluation over the past three months.
In terms of operational performance, Coromandel Engineering achieved its highest operating profit in the last five quarters, recording Rs 1.31 crore with an operating profit margin of 19.61%, suggesting enhanced efficiency in operations. The profit before tax (PBT) reached Rs 0.53 crore, and profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 0.67 crore, both marking the highest figures in the same period. Additionally, earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 0.20.

However, the company faced significant challenges with net sales, which fell to Rs 6.68 crore, representing a decline of 57.7% compared to the average of the previous four quarters. This figure is the lowest net sales recorded in the last five quarters, indicating a negative trend in sales performance.

In the standalone results for the quarter ended June 2025, net sales showed a growth of 21.67% compared to the previous quarter, while standalone net profit reflected a significant decline of 126.16%. The operating profit margin, although showing a change, was also impacted negatively.

Overall, Coromandel Engineering's results reflect a mix of operational efficiency gains alongside significant challenges in sales performance.
