Are Epic Energy latest results good or bad?

Epic Energy has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a range of operational trends. Over the nine-month period, the company achieved a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 0.94 crore, which is an improvement compared to Rs 0.75 crore in the previous twelve months. Additionally, Epic Energy has outperformed its sales figures from the prior year during this timeframe.
However, the quarterly results also indicate significant challenges. The Operating Profit Before Depreciation, Interest, and Tax (PBDIT) for the quarter was Rs 0.12 crore, representing the lowest level in the last five quarters. Similarly, the Profit Before Tax (PBT), excluding other income, was also at its lowest at Rs 0.11 crore. The Earnings per Share (EPS) fell to Rs 0.15, suggesting a decline in profitability and reduced earnings for shareholders.

Furthermore, the company experienced a notable decline in net sales, with a quarter-over-quarter change of -56.30%, contrasting sharply with a previous growth of 332.73% in the preceding quarter. The standalone net profit also saw a significant reduction, with a quarter-over-quarter change of -83.33%.

In light of these results, Epic Energy has undergone an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the mixed operational performance observed in the latest financial data.
