Are GNA Axles latest results good or bad?

GNA Axles has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, which indicate a challenging period for the company. The net sales for this quarter amounted to Rs 344.21 crore, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 13.87%, marking the lowest sales figure in the past five quarters. This downward trend in sales performance suggests difficulties in maintaining revenue levels.
The operating profit (PBDIT) also experienced a decline, falling to Rs 50.09 crore, which continues a downward trajectory observed over the last five quarters. Profit before tax (PBT) decreased to Rs 30.13 crore, down 19.03% year-on-year, while profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 22.99 crore, a decline of 17.2% compared to the previous year. The earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 5.36, further underscoring the challenges in profitability.

Additionally, the debtors turnover ratio has decreased to 2.41 times, indicating a slower pace in settling debts, which may affect the company's liquidity. Although there was a rise in non-operating income to Rs 1.24 crore, this increase may not be sustainable in the long term.

In light of these results, GNA Axles has seen an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the overall performance challenges faced during the quarter.
