Happiest Minds reported strong quarterly results with record net sales and increased profitability, but faces challenges like rising interest costs and declining operating cash flow, leading to a mixed evaluation of its performance.
Happiest Minds Technologies has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, showcasing notable operational trends. The company achieved net sales of Rs 549.90 crore, marking the highest quarterly sales in the last five quarters, although the growth rate compared to the previous quarter was 0.98%.

In terms of profitability, the operating profit (PBDIT) reached Rs 94.02 crore, reflecting a significant increase from the prior quarter. Profit before tax (PBT) also saw a substantial rise, reaching Rs 46.84 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) peaked at Rs 57.13 crore, resulting in an earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 3.80.

On the dividend front, Happiest Minds announced an annual dividend per share of Rs 6.00, with a dividend payout ratio of 53.41%, indicating a commitment to returning profits to shareholders. However, the company is facing challenges, including a notable rise in interest costs, which increased by 31.54% over the preceding nine months, and a decline in operating cash flow, recorded at Rs 101.66 crore, the lowest in three years. Additionally, a significant portion of PBT was derived from non-operating income, which raises concerns regarding the sustainability of these profits.

Overall, the company saw an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the mixed operational performance amid the challenges it faces.
