Are HDFC Bank latest results good or bad?

HDFC Bank has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing notable growth in several key metrics. Additionally, HDFC Bank achieved a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 17,616.14 crore and an Earnings per Share (EPS) of Rs 23.02, both representing the highest figures in the last five quarters.

However, the year-on-year growth in Net Profit was 6.69%, down from 37.06% in the previous year. The bank's Non-Operating Income constituted 51.53% of its PBT, indicating a reliance on this income stream. The percentage of Net Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) and Gross NPAs showed slight changes, with Net NPAs at 0.33% and Gross NPAs at 1.24%.
