Ideaforge Tech's latest financial results for the quarter ended September 2025 reveal a company facing significant operational challenges. The net sales for the quarter were reported at ₹40.76 crores, which reflects a year-on-year decline of 85.17% from ₹86.19 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. However, there was a sequential recovery of 218.94% compared to the preceding quarter's sales of ₹12.78 crores, indicating some recovery from a low base.
The company continues to grapple with negative operating margins, which stood at -27.70%, and a profit after tax margin of -48.14%. This highlights the ongoing operational distress and inability to cover basic expenses through core business activities. The net loss for the quarter was ₹19.62 crores, which represents a 16.72% decline compared to the previous quarter's loss of ₹23.56 crores.

Over the past year, Ideaforge has reported five consecutive quarters of losses, accumulating total losses exceeding ₹96 crores since December 2024. This downturn is attributed to both company-specific execution challenges and broader issues within the defence procurement cycle, which have severely impacted order execution and revenue recognition.

The financial trajectory indicates a drastic decline in revenue, with the half-yearly revenue for FY26 at just ₹53.54 crores, down 56.57% from ₹123.29 crores in the same period last year. The operational cash flow turned sharply negative at -₹76 crores for FY25, a significant reversal from a positive cash flow in FY24.

Despite these challenges, the company has maintained a zero-debt balance sheet with shareholder funds of ₹608.68 crores, providing some liquidity. However, the cash reserves have dwindled from ₹168 crores to just ₹15 crores, raising concerns about sustainability.

In light of these results, Ideaforge has seen an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the ongoing operational crisis and lack of visibility on future revenue recovery. The company must navigate these challenges carefully to stabilize its financial position and restore investor confidence.
