Kajaria Ceramics' latest results are generally positive, with record operating profit and net profit growth of 21.33%, although net sales growth was modest at 0.63%. The company shows improved efficiency and liquidity, but the slight decline in sales growth compared to the previous year indicates mixed operational trends.
Kajaria Ceramics has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, showcasing several notable operational trends. The company achieved an operating profit (PBDIT) of Rs 186.86 crore, which is the highest in the last five quarters, with an operating profit margin of 16.95%, indicating enhanced efficiency in its operations. Additionally, the Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 141.18 crore, and the Profit After Tax (PAT) was Rs 110.64 crore, both figures representing the peak performance over the last five quarters.

The Earnings per Share (EPS) stood at Rs 6.84, reflecting a favorable outcome for shareholders. Furthermore, Kajaria Ceramics reported cash and cash equivalents of Rs 582.86 crore, marking the highest level in the last six half-yearly periods, which suggests an improvement in short-term liquidity. The Debtors Turnover Ratio was recorded at 8.16 times, indicating the company's efficiency in managing its receivables.

However, it is important to note that the company experienced a modest growth in net sales of 0.63% compared to the previous year, which is a decline from the 2.97% growth seen in June 2024. On the other hand, the consolidated net profit exhibited a year-on-year growth of 21.33%, a significant improvement from the negative growth of -16.46% in the same period last year.

Additionally, there was an increase in non-operating income, which reached Rs 13.24 crore, the highest in the last five quarters, although this increase may not be sustainable in the long term. Overall, the company saw an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the mixed operational trends observed in the latest financial results.
