Are Kerala Ayurveda latest results good or bad?

Kerala Ayurveda has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, which reflect significant challenges in its operational performance. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) has recorded a substantial decline, resulting in a figure of Rs -14.54 crore, contrasting sharply with the average PBT from the previous four quarters. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also decreased significantly, landing at Rs -15.54 crore, indicating a notable drop from prior averages.
The company’s interest expenses have escalated dramatically to Rs 2.48 crore, suggesting a considerable rise in borrowing costs. Furthermore, the operating profit has reached its lowest level in five quarters at Rs -10.14 crore, with an operating profit margin of -32.38%. This decline in operational profitability is further underscored by the earnings per share (EPS), which has fallen to Rs -12.92.

In terms of sales performance, the net sales growth for the quarter ended March 2025 stands at 0.61%, a decrease from the previous quarter's growth rate. The consolidated net profit growth has also shown a significant decline, with a figure of -437.72% compared to the prior quarter.

Overall, the financial data indicates that Kerala Ayurveda is facing considerable operational difficulties, leading to an adjustment in its evaluation.
