L T Foods reported strong financial results for June 2025, with net sales growing 19% year-over-year and achieving the highest quarterly sales in five quarters. However, rising interest costs and a declining operating profit margin indicate some financial challenges ahead.
L T Foods has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, highlighting a stable performance in the agricultural products sector. The company achieved net sales of Rs 2,463.92 crore, which represents the highest quarterly sales in the last five quarters, reflecting strong market presence and operational efficiency. Year-over-year, net sales grew by 19.00%, an improvement from the previous year’s growth of 16.45%.

The operating profit reached Rs 265.41 crore, marking a notable operational performance with a year-over-year growth of 10.17%. Profit before tax (PBT) was reported at Rs 191.24 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 168.50 crore, both figures being the highest in recent quarters, with PAT showing a year-over-year growth of 10.01%.

However, the company faces challenges with its operating profit to interest ratio, which has declined to 9.48 times, indicating a need for better management of interest payments. Interest costs have risen to Rs 53.70 crore, reflecting increased borrowings, which may impact future financial flexibility. Additionally, the operating profit margin (excluding other income) has slightly decreased to 10.77%, down by 0.86% from the previous year.

Overall, while L T Foods demonstrates strong financial fundamentals and operational performance, the company has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation due to the rising interest costs and challenges in managing financial ratios.
