Are Marble City latest results good or bad?

Marble City India has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, showcasing notable changes in several key financial metrics. Profit Before Tax (PBT) reached Rs 1.49 crore, which represents a significant growth compared to the average PBT of Rs -0.68 crore over the previous four quarters. Additionally, Profit After Tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 1.53 crore, reflecting a substantial increase from the average PAT of Rs 0.60 crore in the prior four quarters. Net sales also demonstrated a positive trend, amounting to Rs 20.37 crore, which is higher than the average net sales of Rs 14.75 crore from the previous four quarters.
Despite these positive developments, Marble City is encountering challenges due to rising interest costs. Over the latest six months, interest expenses have escalated by 39.27%, reaching Rs 7.98 crore, indicating an increase in borrowings. Furthermore, the company saw an adjustment in its evaluation in light of these financial developments.
