Monte Carlo Fashions has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, which indicate several challenges for the company. The net sales showed a year-on-year growth of 9.94%, contrasting with a decline of 9.20% in the same quarter of the previous year. However, despite this growth in sales, the consolidated net profit reflected a decline of 22.23% compared to the previous year, highlighting ongoing profitability issues.
The operating profit (PBDIT) was recorded at Rs -5.87 crore, marking a significant drop and the lowest figure in the last five quarters. The operating profit margin also fell to -4.24%, suggesting a decline in operational efficiency. Additionally, the company's ability to manage interest payments has weakened, as evidenced by the operating profit to interest ratio dropping to -0.54 times. Interest expenses rose by 21.97% over the preceding nine months, totaling Rs 37.47 crore.

Earnings per share (EPS) decreased to Rs -7.82, further underscoring the financial difficulties faced by the company. The debtors turnover ratio also slowed to 2.64 times, indicating a decrease in the pace at which debts are being settled.

In light of these results, the company saw an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the challenges in its financial performance and operational efficiency.
