Narayana Hrudayalaya has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a mix of positive and challenging trends. The company achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, amounting to Rs 1,507.27 crore, reflecting a near-term favorable sales trend with a quarter-on-quarter growth of 2.16%. However, this growth is accompanied by a decline in consolidated net profit, which saw a slight decrease of 0.28% compared to the previous quarter.
The financial metrics indicate some operational challenges. The operating profit (PBDIT) decreased by 5.81%, and the operating profit margin (excluding other income) fell to 22.35%, down by 1.89%. Additionally, the interest expense rose significantly by 11.01% to Rs 45.16 crore, suggesting an increase in borrowings that may impact financial stability. The operating profit to interest ratio has also reached its lowest point in five quarters at 7.46 times, indicating a reduced capacity to manage interest obligations.

Moreover, the debt-equity ratio climbed to 0.67 times, the highest in the last five half-yearly periods, which may signal potential liquidity challenges as the company continues to borrow to support its operations.
