NIIT Learning's latest results show strong sales growth with net sales reaching Rs 451.35 crore, but profit after tax declined by 9.2% to Rs 53.54 crore, alongside a significant rise in interest expenses. Overall, the company demonstrates improved financial leverage despite facing operational challenges.
NIIT Learning Systems has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, showcasing a mix of operational trends. The company achieved its highest net sales in the last five quarters, totaling Rs 451.35 crore, reflecting a quarterly growth of 5.04% compared to the previous quarter. This indicates a positive trend in revenue generation.

However, the company faced challenges as well. The profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter was Rs 53.54 crore, which represents a decline of 9.2% compared to the average PAT of Rs 58.97 crore from the previous four quarters. Additionally, the interest expense has risen significantly to Rs 12.11 crore, marking a notable increase of 59.76% compared to the previous half-year period, suggesting a rise in borrowings.

On a positive note, NIIT Learning's debt-equity ratio has improved to a low of 0.09 times, indicating a consistent reduction in borrowing relative to equity capital over the past five half-year periods. Furthermore, the company saw an adjustment in its evaluation over the last three months.

In summary, while NIIT Learning has achieved strong sales performance and improved its financial leverage, it is also grappling with rising interest expenses and a decline in profit after tax, highlighting a complex operational landscape.
