PNB Housing Finance's latest results show strong growth in net sales and profits, with net sales up 11.71% and profit after tax rising by 25.3%. However, the company faces liquidity challenges, as cash reserves have decreased significantly, indicating a mixed overall performance.
PNB Housing Finance has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, highlighting several key operational trends. The company achieved net sales of Rs 2,021.85 crore, representing a year-on-year growth of 11.71%, which is the highest quarterly sales figure in the last five quarters. This consistent growth in net sales is a positive indicator of the company's operational performance.

Operating profit also reached Rs 1,888.64 crore, with an operating profit margin of 93.41%, suggesting improved efficiency in its operations. Profit before tax (PBT) was reported at Rs 696.28 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 25.28%. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 550.38 crore, up by 25.3% compared to the previous year, and earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 21.17, marking the highest level in the last five quarters.

However, the company is facing challenges, particularly in liquidity, as cash and cash equivalents have decreased to Rs 2,175 crore, the lowest in the last six half-yearly periods. While non-operating income has risen to Rs 14.93 crore, its sustainability remains uncertain.

In light of these results, PNB Housing Finance has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the mixed nature of its financial performance.
