Are PNB Housing latest results good or bad?

PNB Housing Finance has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, highlighting several key operational metrics. The company achieved net sales of Rs 2,021.85 crore, which represents a year-on-year growth of 11.71%, marking the highest quarterly sales in the last five quarters. Additionally, the operating profit reached Rs 1,888.64 crore, with an operating profit margin of 93.41%, indicating enhanced operational efficiency.
Profit before tax (PBT) was recorded at Rs 696.28 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 25.28%. However, the company is facing challenges in liquidity, as cash and cash equivalents have dropped to Rs 2,175 crore, the lowest level in the last six half-yearly periods. While non-operating income has risen to Rs 14.93 crore, its sustainability is uncertain.
