Prism Johnson's latest results are positive, with a 109.35% increase in Profit Before Tax and a 307.4% rise in Profit After Tax, alongside record net sales. However, 68.99% of the PBT came from non-operating income, raising concerns about long-term sustainability.
Prism Johnson has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing notable developments in its performance metrics. The company achieved a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs 5.78 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 109.35%. Additionally, the Profit After Tax (PAT) reached Rs 21.88 crore, which is an increase of 307.4% compared to the previous year.

The company recorded its highest net sales in five quarters at Rs 2,102.33 crore, with a year-on-year growth of 1.77%. This marks a recovery from the previous year's decline of 2.17%. Furthermore, the operating profit stood at Rs 187.50 crore, indicating a significant year-on-year growth of 111.33%. The operating profit margin, excluding other income, was reported at 8.92%, reflecting a positive trend in operational efficiency.

However, it is important to note that a substantial portion of the PBT, specifically 68.99%, was derived from non-operating income. This reliance on non-business activities raises questions about the sustainability of such income in the long term.

In light of these results, Prism Johnson experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the changes in its financial performance over the recent quarter.
