Repro India's latest results are concerning, with a significant decline in Profit Before Tax (Rs -2.34 crore) and a 66.95% drop in Profit After Tax over the past year, indicating ongoing operational challenges and reduced profitability. The reliance on non-operating income further questions the sustainability of its financial performance.
Repro India has reported financial results for the quarter ending March 2025 that reflect significant challenges in its operational performance. The company's Profit Before Tax (PBT) for this quarter is recorded at Rs -2.34 crore, which marks a substantial decline compared to the average PBT of Rs -0.28 crore over the previous four quarters. This trend raises concerns regarding the company's near-term profitability.

In terms of Profit After Tax (PAT), Repro India reported Rs 2.32 crore for the latest six months, indicating a year-on-year decline of 66.95%. This decline further underscores the difficulties the company is encountering in sustaining profitability.

The company's net sales for the quarter ended March 2025 experienced a change of -2.29% compared to the previous quarter, contrasting sharply with a growth of 20.33% in December 2024. Similarly, the consolidated net profit showed a change of -5.04% for the same period, down from a notable growth of 126.74% in the prior quarter.

Additionally, the operating profit (PBDIT) excluding other income decreased by 18.90%, highlighting a decline from a growth of 10.37% in the previous quarter. The operating profit margin (excluding other income) also saw a reduction, moving from 6.83% in December 2024.

It is also noteworthy that Repro India's non-operating income has surged to 246.25% of its PBT, with the highest quarterly figure recorded at Rs 3.94 crore in the last five quarters. This reliance on non-operating income raises questions about the sustainability of the company's income model.

Overall, Repro India has experienced a revision in its evaluation, reflecting the operational challenges and declining profitability evident in the latest financial results.
