Sapphire Foods India has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, which reflect notable challenges in its operational performance. The Profit After Tax (PAT) has also seen a reduction, now reported at Rs 5.67 crore, down from an average of Rs 7.82 crore in prior quarters, representing a decrease of 27.5%. Furthermore, the operating profit to interest ratio has reached its lowest level in five quarters at 3.57 times, suggesting a waning capacity to manage interest obligations effectively.

In terms of sales, the net sales for the quarter have declined by 5.97% compared to the previous quarter, which had shown a growth of 8.75%. The consolidated net profit has experienced a substantial drop of 85.06%, contrasting sharply with the previous quarter's growth of 494.08%. The operating profit margin, excluding other income, has also decreased by 2.83%, reflecting a decline from 14.93% in the previous quarter.

Additionally, non-operating income has surged to Rs 12.98 crore, which constitutes 289.09% of PBT, raising concerns regarding the sustainability of this income source. Overall, the financial performance of Sapphire Foods India for this quarter indicates significant operational challenges that the company is currently navigating.
