Semac Consultants' latest results show significant growth, with net sales reaching Rs 73.30 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 0.96 crore, both the highest in five quarters. However, challenges remain due to rising interest costs and uncertainties in non-operating income.
Semac Consultants has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing notable operational trends. The company's net sales reached Rs 73.30 crore, reflecting a substantial growth compared to the average net sales of Rs 31.14 crore over the previous four quarters. This quarter marks the highest net sales recorded in the last five quarters, indicating a significant operational advancement.

The operating profit margin, while still negative at -1.30%, is the best performance in the past five quarters, suggesting improved efficiency in operations. Furthermore, the profit after tax (PAT) reached Rs 0.96 crore, which is also the highest in the last five quarters, demonstrating a positive trend in profitability. The earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs 3.08, indicating enhanced returns for shareholders.

However, the company is facing challenges, particularly with rising interest costs, which grew by 36.91% to Rs 3.19 crore over the last six months, pointing to increased borrowings. Additionally, while non-operating income reached Rs 2.00 crore, its sustainability from non-business activities remains uncertain.

In light of these results, Semac Consultants experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the changes in its financial performance metrics. The quarterly results show a net sales growth of 59.17% compared to the previous quarter, alongside a consolidated net profit growth of 171.64%. Overall, the data indicates a complex operational landscape for Semac Consultants, with both positive trends and challenges to navigate.
