Sheetal Cool Products Ltd's latest Q4 FY26 results are strong, with a 42.5% year-on-year revenue increase and a 72.36% rise in net profit. However, concerns remain about long-term sustainability due to a five-year sales decline and rising cost pressures.
The latest financial results for Sheetal Cool Products Ltd for Q4 FY26 indicate a significant quarterly performance, characterized by a notable increase in both revenue and net profit. Specifically, the company reported net sales of ₹133.31 crores, which reflects a year-on-year growth of 42.50% compared to ₹93.55 crores in Q4 FY25. This quarter also marked a substantial sequential increase of 108.69% from ₹63.88 crores in Q3 FY26, highlighting the pronounced seasonality typical of the ice cream industry during peak summer months.
Net profit for the quarter reached ₹8.17 crores, representing a year-on-year increase of 72.36% from ₹4.74 crores in the same period last year. This performance was further supported by an improvement in the profit after tax margin, which stood at 6.13%, slightly above the 5.07% recorded in Q4 FY25. However, while the quarterly results are strong, they must be viewed in the context of the company's longer-term performance. Over the past five years, Sheetal Cool Products has experienced an annual sales decline of 5.55%, raising concerns about the sustainability of the recent gains. The operating profit before depreciation, interest, tax, and other income (PBDIT) was reported at ₹15.28 crores, which, despite being a record for the quarter, indicates a decline from the previous year’s figure of ₹20.55 crores, suggesting increased cost pressures. The company also saw an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the mixed nature of its financial performance. While the recent quarterly results showcase operational strengths, the underlying long-term growth challenges cannot be overlooked. The upcoming quarters will be critical for assessing whether the momentum can be sustained beyond the seasonal peaks of the ice cream market.
