Shemaroo Entertainment has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, highlighting several operational trends. The company experienced a notable rise in net sales, reaching Rs 204.27 crore, which reflects a growth of 20.2% compared to the average of the previous four quarters. This marks the highest quarterly sales recorded in the last five quarters.
The operating profit before depreciation, interest, and taxes (PBDIT) also reached Rs 2.35 crore, contributing to an operating profit margin of 1.15%. This margin indicates an improvement in operational efficiency. Additionally, the company has shown progress in managing its interest payments, with the operating profit to interest ratio at 0.25 times, the highest in five quarters.

However, despite these positive trends, Shemaroo reported a profit before tax of Rs -8.70 crore and a profit after tax of Rs -5.12 crore, which, while still negative, represent the least negative figures in the last five quarters. Furthermore, non-operating income increased to Rs 3.73 crore, although the sustainability of this income is uncertain.

It is also noted that the company saw an adjustment in its evaluation over the past three months, reflecting the changes in its financial health. Overall, the results indicate a mix of positive operational metrics alongside ongoing challenges in profitability.
