SP Apparels Ltd.'s latest results show mixed performance, with a year-on-year net profit growth of 11.50% and net sales increase of 6.58%, but both metrics declined sequentially by 22.33% and 10.39%, respectively, raising concerns about demand sustainability. Overall, while annual figures are strong, recent trends suggest challenges ahead.
SP Apparels Ltd. has reported its financial results for Q3 FY26, which present a mixed operational picture. The company achieved a net profit of ₹26.96 crores, reflecting an 11.50% growth year-on-year, although this was accompanied by a notable 22.33% decline compared to the previous quarter. Similarly, net sales reached ₹382.95 crores, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.58%, but a sequential decrease of 10.39% from the prior quarter.
The operating margin, excluding other income, was recorded at 14.78%, which is an improvement of 62 basis points year-on-year but a slight contraction of 11 basis points from the previous quarter. The profit after tax (PAT) margin also saw a year-on-year increase of 33 basis points to 7.05%, yet it decreased by 107 basis points sequentially. For the nine-month period ending December 2025, SP Apparels reported consolidated net sales of ₹1,213.73 crores, reflecting a robust year-on-year growth of 21.87%. The net profit for this period was ₹83.07 crores, which is a 29.46% increase compared to the same period last year. Despite these positive annual figures, the sequential decline in Q3 FY26 raises concerns regarding demand sustainability and operational efficiency, especially as the company enters the traditionally strong festive season for children's apparel. The company has also seen a revision in its evaluation, indicating that there may be shifts in market perception regarding its operational performance. Overall, while SP Apparels demonstrates resilience in some areas, the recent trends highlight challenges that warrant close monitoring as the company navigates through the remainder of FY26.
