Teesta Agro Industries Ltd's latest results show a mixed performance, with Q4 FY26 net sales down 17.24% year-on-year and 63.65% sequentially, marking the lowest revenue in two years. Teesta Agro Industries Ltd's latest financial results present a mixed picture of its operational performance. In Q4 FY26, the company reported net sales of ₹32.64 crores, reflecting a significant year-on-year contraction of 17.24% and a sharp sequential decline of 63.65%. This decline marks the lowest quarterly revenue in two years, raising concerns about seasonal demand and competitive pressures within the fertiliser sector.
Despite the revenue challenges, Teesta Agro demonstrated operational efficiency, achieving an operating margin of 19.88%, which is the highest in recent periods. This represents a notable improvement of 393 basis points year-on-year. The net profit for Q4 FY26 was ₹3.13 crores, down 15.66% from the previous year but up 6.10% sequentially, indicating some resilience in profitability amidst declining sales. For the full fiscal year FY25, Teesta Agro reported net sales of ₹187.00 crores, which was a 14.70% increase from the previous year, and net profit doubled to ₹6.00 crores. This suggests that while the recent quarter faced significant headwinds, the company had previously established a stronger performance in the fiscal year. The company also saw a revision in its evaluation, reflecting the market's changing perception of its performance and prospects. However, challenges remain evident, particularly in capital efficiency, with a return on equity (ROE) of 5.62% and return on capital employed (ROCE) of 7.10%, both of which are below industry benchmarks. Overall, Teesta Agro Industries Ltd's latest results highlight a combination of operational strengths in margin management against a backdrop of revenue volatility, raising questions about the sustainability of its performance in the competitive fertiliser market.
