Are Wonderla Holiday latest results good or bad?

Wonderla Holidays has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 59.68 crore, which reflects a decline of 24.37% year-on-year. The profit after tax (PAT) also decreased to Rs 52.57 crore, down 16.9% compared to the previous year.
In terms of operational performance, the company's net sales experienced a decline of 2.70% year-on-year, which is an improvement compared to the previous year's decline of 6.36%. The standalone net profit showed a decrease of 16.87%, which is also a better performance than the previous year's decline of 25.13%.

On the liquidity front, Wonderla's cash and cash equivalents reached Rs 423.01 crore, the highest level in the last six half-yearly periods, indicating an enhancement in short-term liquidity. However, there are concerns regarding operational efficiency, as the inventory turnover ratio has fallen to 32.78 times, the lowest in recent periods, suggesting a slowdown in inventory movement. Additionally, the debtors turnover ratio decreased to 100.78 times, indicating reduced efficiency in collecting receivables.

Non-operating income has seen an increase to Rs 10.82 crore, marking the highest level in five quarters, although its sustainability as a revenue source may be uncertain. Overall, the company saw an adjustment in its evaluation based on these results.
