Barbeque-Nation Hospitality, a popular lifestyle brand known for its delicious barbeque dishes, has recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company, which falls under the smallcap category, has seen a negative performance in this quarter, according to the latest report by MarketsMOJO.

The financial score for Barbeque-Nation has fallen from -3 to -9 in the last three months, indicating a decline in its overall financial health. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) has also seen a significant drop of 88.3% at Rs -14.24 crore, compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters at Rs -7.56 crore. This trend is expected to continue in the near term.

Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also fallen by 106.9% at Rs -7.22 crore, compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters at Rs -3.49 crore. This indicates a negative trend in the company’s profitability. The company’s cash and cash equivalents have also decreased to Rs 24.46 crore in the last six half-yearly periods, indicating a deteriorating short-term liquidity situation.

Moreover, Barbeque-Nation’s Debt-Equity Ratio has reached its highest at 1.93 times in the last five half-yearly periods. This suggests that the company is borrowing more to fund its operations, which may lead to a stressed liquidity situation. Additionally, the Debtors Turnover Ratio has also slowed down to its lowest at 307.01 times in the last five half-yearly periods, indicating a delay in the company’s debt collection process.

Overall, Barbeque-Nation Hospitality has reported a negative financial performance in the quarter ending September 2024. Investors are advised to take note of these factors before making any investment decisions.
