Basant Agro Tech (India), a microcap company in the fertilizers industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. Additionally, the operating profit (PBDIT) also peaked at Rs 8.72 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) was recorded at Rs 2.52 crore, both reflecting the company's ability to generate higher earnings for shareholders. Earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 0.28, further indicating an increase in profitability.However, the financial results also highlight some challenges. Interest expenses grew significantly, reaching Rs 3.88 crore, which reflects a 41.61% increase quarter on quarter. This rise in interest costs may indicate increased borrowings, which could impact the company's financial stability.
