Benares Hotels has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a mix of positive developments and areas of concern. The company's operating cash flow reached a notable Rs 41.86 crore, marking consistent growth over the past three years, indicating robust cash generation from its core business operations. Additionally, net sales for the latest six months stood at Rs 74.13 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 26.54%, while profit after tax (PAT) also showed a strong increase, reaching Rs 23.63 crore with a year-on-year growth of 31.13%. The company’s cash and cash equivalents have reached their highest level in the last three half-yearly periods at Rs 89.65 crore, suggesting an improvement in short-term liquidity. Furthermore, the debtors turnover ratio has improved significantly, recorded at 33.53 times, indicating efficient management of receivables.
However, Benares Hotels faces challenges with its non-operating income, which, while at its highest in the last five quarters at Rs 1.78 crore, raises concerns about sustainability.
