Betex India Reports Decline in Financial Metrics Amid Challenging Market Conditions in March 2025

Betex India, a microcap player in the Garments & Apparels industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results indicate a challenging period for the company, with notable shifts in its financial metrics.
The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) for the quarter stands at Rs -1.03 crore, reflecting a significant deviation from the average PBT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 1.13 crore. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also shown a decline, recorded at Rs -0.75 crore compared to an average of Rs 1.02 crore in the prior quarters.

Net Sales for the quarter reached Rs 22.43 crore, which is lower than the average of Rs 23.86 crore from the previous four quarters. Operating Profit (PBDIT) has dropped to Rs -0.27 crore, marking the lowest figure in the last five quarters. The Operating Profit Margin has also declined to -1.20%, indicating a decrease in operational efficiency. Additionally, Earnings per Share (EPS) has fallen to Rs -5.00, suggesting a reduction in profitability for shareholders.

In light of these results, Betex India has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the current financial landscape.
