Bharat Seats Reports Flat Q3 FY24-25 Results Amid Rising Profit and Sales Challenges

Bharat Seats, a microcap player in the auto ancillary industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The results indicate a flat performance for Q3 FY24-25, with a notable adjustment in its evaluation, as the score has shifted from 4 to 3 over the past three months.
On a positive note, Bharat Seats has demonstrated growth in its Profit After Tax (PAT), which reached Rs 21.30 crore, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 25.44%. Additionally, the company achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, totaling Rs 306.39 crore, alongside an operating profit of Rs 18.58 crore, also the highest in the same timeframe. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) has similarly reached a peak of Rs 9.63 crore for the quarter.

Conversely, the financials reveal a concerning trend in cash and cash equivalents, which have fallen to Rs 0.30 crore, marking the lowest level in the last six half-yearly periods. This decline points to challenges in short-term liquidity for the company.
