Bharat Wire Ropes Reports Negative Performance in Q1 FY25, MarketsMOJO Gives 'Sell' Call

The company's PBT and PAT have fallen by 24.9% and 25.1% respectively, while Net Sales and Operating Profit have also seen a decline. According to the latest report, the company has seen a negative performance in this quarter, with a score of -13 compared to -1 in the previous three months.

The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) has fallen by 24.9% to Rs 24.05 crore, compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters which was Rs 32.02 crore. This indicates a very negative trend in the near term for PBT. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also fallen by 25.1% to Rs 18.05 crore, compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters which was Rs 24.09 crore.


The Net Sales for this quarter have also seen a decline of 14.1% to Rs 133.47 crore, compared to the average Net Sales of the previous four quarters which was Rs 155.46 crore. This is the lowest Net Sales in the last five quarters, indicating a negative trend in the near term. The Operating Profit (PBDIT) for this quarter is also the lowest in the last five quarters at Rs 32.60 crore, showing a negative trend in the near term.


The Operating Profit Margin for this quarter is also the lowest in the last five quarters at 24.42%, indicating a deterioration in the company’s efficiency. The Earnings per Share (EPS) for this quarter is also the lowest in the last five quarters at Rs 2.64, showing a decline in profitability and lower earnings for shareholders.


Based on these financial results, MarketsMOJO has given a ‘Sell’ call for Bharat Wire Ropes. The company’s performance in this quarter has not been favorable, and it is important for investors to carefully consider these factors before making any investment decisions.
