BHEL Reports Strong Financial Performance with Record Sales and Profit Metrics in March 2025

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing a notable performance in various key metrics. The company's score has seen an adjustment in evaluation, moving to 16 from 14 over the past three months, reflecting a positive shift in its financial standing.
The quarter marked several significant achievements for BHEL. The operating profit to interest ratio reached its highest level in the last five quarters at 4.13 times, indicating an enhanced capability to manage interest obligations. Additionally, net sales hit Rs 8,993.37 crore, the highest recorded in the same period, suggesting a favorable near-term sales trend.

BHEL's operating profit (PBDIT) also reached a peak of Rs 831.68 crore, while the operating profit margin improved to 9.25%, highlighting increased operational efficiency. Furthermore, profit before tax (PBT) and profit after tax (PAT) both achieved their highest figures in five quarters, at Rs 555.15 crore and Rs 504.45 crore, respectively. The earnings per share (EPS) also saw an uptick, reaching Rs 1.45, indicating a positive trajectory in profitability for shareholders.
