Black Rose Industries has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a decline in net sales, profit after tax, and operating profit, all reaching their lowest levels in five quarters. The company is facing challenges in revenue generation and short-term liquidity, despite a rise in non-operating income.
Black Rose Industries, a microcap company in the specialty chemicals sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's financial landscape, with a revision in its score reflecting the challenges faced during this period.

The net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 59.85 crore, marking a significant decline compared to the previous year. This figure represents the lowest sales recorded in the last five quarters, suggesting a concerning trend in revenue generation. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 4.19 crore, also reflecting a year-on-year decrease and indicating a downward trajectory in profitability.

Operating profit, measured as PBDIT, reached its lowest point in five quarters at Rs 5.80 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) was recorded at Rs 4.69 crore, again the lowest in the same timeframe. Earnings per share (EPS) fell to Rs 0.82, further highlighting the decline in profitability for shareholders.

On a half-yearly basis, cash and cash equivalents were reported at Rs 9.08 crore, the lowest in the last six periods, indicating a deterioration in short-term liquidity. However, non-operating income saw an increase, reaching Rs 1.05 crore, although this may not be a sustainable source of revenue.

Overall, Black Rose Industries is navigating a challenging financial environment, as reflected in the recent evaluation changes.
